Route:

Day 1:   Subiaco via St. George’s Tce (stopping at the 3 main Church’s) via East Perth to St. Charles – Guildford (17k)
Day 2:  Guildford via Walyunga national park – Walyunga lower car park (24k)
Day 3:  Walyunga Lower Car Park via Chittering Valley Rd – Muchea (27k)
Day 4:  Muchea via Chittering Valley Rd – Bindoon (27k)
Day 5:  Bindoon – Hay Flat Rd (27k)
Day 6:  Hay Flat Rd – New Norcia (27k)

Accommodation:

Guildford    /    Chittering Valley   /    Bindoon    /     New Norcia

Available at St. Joseph’s 3 Salvado Rd.  Subiaco

Thirty places will be coordinated by the Committee. Numbers over this will have to source their own accomodation.

Boost – In Recess

Wednesday night Boost will be in recess for a short while in the lead up to exams.

Youth Mass – Prayer for Mid-Year Exams

A special Youth Mass for Exams will be held at the 6:00pm Mass on the 31st May 2009.

 

All students studying for midyear exams are invited to participate. Your name will be put on a colour card signifying the date of the exam and placed on the altar on the day of the exam so that the St Joseph’s community can pray for you on the day of your exam.

 

There will be opportunities to register from this weekend or you can contact the office on 08 9381 0400 or glecoultre@stjosephssubiaco.org.au during business hours with your name and the date of your exam.

Boost Movie Night

Come join our youth for a movie night to be held at the Subiaco church this coming Wednesday, 22nd April 2009. Bring a bean bag and some snacks!

After School Sacramental Programme:
for children attending Non-Catholic Schools.
All classes are held on Tuesdays from 4.15pm – 5.15pm.

First Holy Communion classes
: 21st July to 8th September.
First Reconciliation classes: 21st July to 8th September

Confirmation classes:
13th October to 24th November
At least one parent or guardian to attend with child.

Registration on 9381 0400 before hand is essential.

Boost – Rob Pereira: Within /Without on the Calcutta’s Stations Missions

For the last 4 years Rob Pereira has been heading up a mission to the poor and needy in Calcutta’s Stations.

The mission provided medical and education support for those would not otherwise receive these.
