Report on Within/Without

The following report was written by Nadia Santarini about a recent activity held by the Subiaco Youth Group:

“Last Thursday I attended the Within/Without event and found it very inspiring .  We started off with a BBQ and then listened to James McMahon (Former Head of the SaS) who was very interesting and had many life experiences to share with us.

He talked about living a well balanced life and about his experiences being Captain of the SAS team over in Afghanistan, marriage and even challenged us to think about our faith and where we are now.

Some of his stories were very powerful and touching. Then through discussion with the speaker and other young people, we were able to share our faith and discuss relevant issues within today’s society.

I recommend everyone to go to at least one of these talks and meet other young people who share the same values.”
